Please be aware COVID 19 is still present, however our response has evolved.
If a person in the household (of the patient) has covid, please contact reception prior to attending the appointment to reschedule the appointment.
If your child is having surgery, and a household member or child has COVID 19, the surgery will be rescheduled (unless surgery is urgent). Surgery can proceed once the patient has recovered from their symptoms OR if no symptoms, one week post a positive swab. If a household member is positive for COVID, then the child will be treated in "SCOVID" precautions (full PPE) in a hospital. Ideally this is avoided as it creates signficant anxiety for the child (and those caring for the child).
